Jim Maynard

Jim Maynard as Oscar Fox: Maynard is a lifelong explorer and learner, always interested in new experiences, ideas, and knowledge. Raised on a 12,000-acre working ranch along the windswept Canadian River breaks northwest of Amarillo, Jim worked more than twenty years as a cowboy in Texas, New Mexico,  Arizona, Nevada, and Wyoming. He is a commercial pilot, saddlemaker, blacksmith, saw smith, heavy equipment operator, truck driver and an avid student of history. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science in Range Science at New Mexico State University and worked as a rangeland management consultant for twenty years. He once worked as an intern at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. Jim currently resides in Las Cruces, NM.
