PUBLIC NOTICE:
Construction on the Cottonwood Shores Public Boat Ramp, through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Grant Project Number F-239-B, will begin the first part of July 2014. Please be advised that the Park and Boat Ramp will be closed from July through the end of the year 2014. The recycle dumpster is now located across the street from City Hall on Cottonwood Drive.

Bulk Trash Pickup for the month of July is on July 21, 2014.

Trash Notice:  Republic Services will only pick up your garbage can if the lid closes.  Otherwise the automated arm will not be able to pick it up.  Additional totes are available at city hall upon request.  

The Burn Ban has been lifted effective May 27, 2014. Burning with permit only. 

SPECIAL NOTICE AS OF MARCH 1, LCRA IS REQUIRING ITS FIRM WATER CUSTOMERS (THE CITY) TO LIMIT HOMEOWNERS AND BUSINESSES TO WATERING OUTDOORS NO MORE THAN ONCE A WEEK.  WATERING WILL BE LIMITED TO TUESDAYS FOR COMMERCIAL WATER CUSTOMERS; SATURDAYS FOR RESIDENTIAL WATER CUSTOMERS WITH A STREET ADDRESS ENDING IN AN ODD NUMBER; SUNDAYS FOR RESIDENTIAL WATER CUSTOMERS WITH A STREET ADDRESS ENDING IN AN EVEN NUMBER.  THE WATERING RESTRICTIONS APPLY TO THE IRRIGATION OF ORNAMENTAL LANDSCAPED AREAS (SUCH AS LAWNS) WITH HOSE-END SPRINKLERS OR AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEMS OTHER THAN DRIP IRRIGATION.  ENFORCEMENT PROVISIONS MAY INCLUDE FINES, WATER RATE SURCHARGES OR DISCONTINUATION OF SERVICE FOR VIOLATIONS.

The City is currently in Mandatory STAGE 2 WATER RATIONING (See Ordinance 1100 Drought Contingency, Pages 9 & 10, below).
