Public Works Administrator

The Public Works Manager is responsible for fiscal management, administration, and operational direction of the City’s public works, water distribution and wastewater collection system maintenance functions. They are responsible for accomplishing department objectives and goals within guidelines established by the City Council and City Administrator or their designee. They also help Plan, organize, control, integrate and evaluate the work of the Public Works and Utilities Departments with hands-on responsibility; develop, implement and monitor long-term plan, goals and objectives focused on achieving the City’s mission and administration and Council priorities; direct the development of and monitor performance against the annual department budget; manages and directs the implementation and evaluation of plans, policies, systems and procedures to achieve annual goals, objectives and work standards.
