The City Clerk is responsible to respond to questions from the public, in-person and over the telephone as well as directing calls to the appropriate departments. They enter meter readings on individual utility accounts, set up new accounts. They receive payments for utility bills and court payments. They Prepare delinquent water accounts, notify the customers of said delinquency according to established procedures. They prepare monthly utility bills, late notices, pet licenses and other services. They perform multiple other tasks as required.
