Notices:

Bulk Trash Pickup for the month of May is on May 18, 2015.

Trash Notice:  Republic Services will only pick up your garbage can if the lid closes.  Otherwise the automated arm will not be able to pick it up.  Additional totes are available at city hall upon request. 

Recycle Bin located in front of City Hall:  Limited to the following materials ONLY - Cans - clean aluminum, tin/steel; Newspapers and Cardboard; Plastic Containers - milk jugs and soft drink containers

Dumpster located behind fence of City Hall:  Limited to CWS residents only, no commercial dumping.  Please click on link on website under Municipal Documents/Permits/City Dumpster to review what is allowed and not allowed in the dumpster.

The Burn Ban has been lifted as of September 19, 2014. Burning allowed with permit only. 

SPECIAL NOTICE AS OF MARCH 1, LCRA IS REQUIRING ITS FIRM WATER CUSTOMERS (THE CITY) TO LIMIT HOMEOWNERS AND BUSINESSES TO WATERING OUTDOORS NO MORE THAN ONCE A WEEK.  WATERING WILL BE LIMITED TO TUESDAYS FOR COMMERCIAL WATER CUSTOMERS; SATURDAYS FOR RESIDENTIAL WATER CUSTOMERS WITH A STREET ADDRESS ENDING IN AN ODD NUMBER; SUNDAYS FOR RESIDENTIAL WATER CUSTOMERS WITH A STREET ADDRESS ENDING IN AN EVEN NUMBER.  ENFORCEMENT PROVISIONS MAY INCLUDE FINES, WATER RATE SURCHARGES OR DISCONTINUATION OF SERVICE FOR VIOLATIONS.

The City is currently in Mandatory STAGE 2 WATER RATIONING (See Ordinance 1100 Drought Contingency, Pages 9 & 10, below).
